Dr Sarkar specialises in assessments covering placement, contact, risk and parenting abilities. She has evaluated parents' mental health, personality, marital relationships, and domestic violence issues in childcare proceedings.
As an expert witness, she has provided court reports and evidence on child-parent relationships, parenting skills, and parental capacity to care for and protect children, in family care proceedings in the UK and Singapore.
